Revenue Manager - Edtech - SaaS
Role & Responsibilities include
- Lead a team of billing specialists overseeing the complete order-to-cash cycle and accurate revenue reporting under relevant accounting standards.
- Develop and analyze budgets and forecasts, generating insightful reports and collaborating across departments to optimize revenue processes and controls.
- Drive organizational growth and scalability through initiatives that enhance revenue operations.
- Manage billing, collections, commissions, and sales taxes.
- Lead monthly revenue and accounts receivable close.
- Prepare and analyze monthly management reports.
- Build and maintain budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Manage customer database and handle disputes.
- Serve as revenue subject matter expert and collaborate across teams.
- Work with external auditors on revenue recognition and controls.
- Manage and coach the revenue accounting team.
- Support ad hoc projects and drive positive changes.

Your Experience and Skills
- Business degree in accounting or finance (required).
- In-depth knowledge of relevant revenue recognition standards (required).
- CPA highly preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in accounts receivable, financial accounting, or budget and forecasting, with at least 3 years in revenue accounting and management.
- Demonstrated expertise in revenue recognition, reporting, and forecasting (industry experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes and best practices.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
- Sage Intacct (or similar), Salesforce, and advanced Excel are preferred
